The Difference between Sleep and Hypnosis

 

Many people feel that sleep and hypnosis are similar. According to psychologists sleep and hypnosis are the opposite sides of the same coin. Both can affect your state of mind- panic away review. The attention of the person sleeping is diffused during the process. You will not be able to concentrate on thongs happening around you while you are sleeping.

Your subconscious mind will be active but may no be aware of things happening in the surroundings. But in the case of hypnosis your subconscious mind will be fully active and will be concentrating on everything happening inside you and in the environment. Hypnosis and sleeping is a relaxed state of mind. Your body and mind will be at complete rest in both cases. But during hypnosis your mind is capable of receiving positive thoughts and suggestions.

The thought process during sleep is quite different. The thoughts in the mind will be transmitted in the form of dreams. These dreams will not stay in the mind for a long time since there is no concentration. The thoughts passing through the mind during the trance state will remain in your mind forever since you are concentrating. This phenomenon of hypnosis can be used to bring many positive changes in a person.
